Having a growth mindset as a person is one thing, but how do you incorporate it into your company culture? Here’s some simple tips, straight from the Dweck’s mouth.
Live it
Most of the time, company values are forgotten during the day-to-day. But this lack of consistency sends the wrong message. Instead, show your employees how you bring your growth mindset and encourage others to do it too.
Open doors
Inspire your employees to see challenges as something to look forward to, not throw them off. Put your own time forward or help connect them with a mentor so they can learn how to look at things from a different perspective.
Celebrate wins
Give performance reviews that explain how your employee’s growth has contributed
to the company. And give salary increases that account for the other stuff, like tackling challenges or taking the time to help others improve.
