This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join a busy, evolving environment and work closely with a supportive Regional Head of People & Culture.
Sole charge in NZ and part of an Australasian HR team, this role blends strategic input with hands‑on delivery across the full HR spectrum. You’ll partner with leaders across NZ, providing timely, high‑quality advice and driving best‑practice people initiatives that lift capability, strengthen culture, and support organisational change. The main site is East Tamaki but with some travel to other sites
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for all people‑related matters
- Coaching and advising leaders on ER issues including grievances, investigations, disciplinary processes and terminations
- Leading and supporting end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and talent initiatives
- Supporting organisational development, learning programs and leadership capability uplift
- Providing guidance on restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
- Supporting cyclic processes
What you’ll bring
- Strong HR generalist experience
- Deep knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice
- Proven ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and confidence preparing reports, policies and documentation
- Ability to build trusted relationships and handle sensitive information with discretion
