About the Role
You’ll play a key part in shaping how people learn and develop across the organisation. Working closely with regional teams, leaders and subject matter experts, you’ll help create clear capability expectations, support leadership development, and strengthen early‑career pathways.
This role suits someone who is confident balancing planning with hands‑on delivery — someone who enjoys designing frameworks, coordinating programmes, improving systems, and partnering with leaders to embed development into everyday work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and rollout of learning, capability and talent initiatives.
- Build practical capability frameworks, role competencies and development pathways.
- Coordinate leadership development programmes and facilitate workshops or coaching sessions.
- Strengthen apprenticeship, cadet and early‑career programmes.
- Assist with talent identification, succession planning and career pathway development.
- Manage learning systems, reporting and analytics to track progress.
- Work with operational, commercial and H&S teams to translate role requirements into practical training plans.
- Build strong relationships across regions and encourage leaders to prioritise capability development.
What You’ll Bring
- Solid experience in learning, capability and OD.
- Confidence designing practical development tools, frameworks and programmes.
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with learning systems, LMS platforms or reporting.
- Ability to work across both planning and hands‑on delivery.
- Experience in operational business and multi site would be highly valued
- Understanding of apprenticeships, cadetships or vocational pathways is an advantage.
