What you’ll be doing
Managing a part-time HR and Payroll Administrator, you will be accountable for all aspects of the HR portfolio. Based in Avondale, you’ll be an active member of the leadership team, reporting to the GM of New Zealand with a dotted line to the General Manager of HR in Australia. You’ll be accountable for building the people plan linked to both the local and global plans, supporting manager development, providing pragmatic HR advice, building initiatives to maintain high levels of engagement, as well as managing the payroll function. This is a role where you will flex between the operational and strategic. You’ll also get to be involved in the roll out of a new HRIS.
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring a solid generalist HR background with experience across the broad spectrum of HR duties. You’ll have sound ER skills and have experience managing payroll processes. Ideally you will have worked in operational environments and have a demonstrated ability to work with people from different walks of life. You are approachable, have excellent communication skills and strong project management skills. You’ll have high attention to detail as well as an ability to see the big picture.
