Here’s what you’ll be doing
This is a full HR generalist role, where you’ll contribute to business success through the provision of well-considered, commercial HR advice. You’ll be providing support and coaching across the full remit of HR activities, including employee relations. Managers in this unionised business are keen for your support, so you’ll be hands on with them, coaching them through handling a range of ER issues. Reporting to a P&C Manager and as part of a medium sized HR team, you’ll be supporting sites in Auckland and Christchurch.
Skills and experience you’ll bring
You’re action orientated and bring a solutions based approach. You’ll have experience at the HR business partner level across the breadth of HR activities including a solid background of working through ER issues. You have strong influencing skills and are comfortable pushing back when needed. You’ll have a strength in building relationships and be able to adapt your style to work with people from all walks of life, including an operational, industrial workforce.
